“Tourist Trap” remake officially happening!

45 years after the original cult classic was released we are finally getting a remake!!

Do you wanna see any changes from the original made to this one that you feel would make it better? Clearly it would be set in modern day vs 1979.

The original had some striking images but was really uneven.

Maybe work in some nudity, but keep the ending intact!

The remake won’t be better. Modern horror films rely on gore and jump scares and don’t know how to build a scary atmosphere and make people feel nervous or worried. Old horror could do that. Tourist Trap was genuinely creepy.

Is it like Parent Trap? I'm sure Lindsay would love to work.

The remake will be all CGI and jump scares. No atmosphere. It will suck. Horror films from the 70s always created creepy and scary atmospheres and tension. Movies today rely on gore only.

Agreed R2 and R4. The creepy atmosphere needed for this remake will not be present. The Witch and The Ritual are two films in the past decade that did a great job of a creepy atmosphere.

R5 agreed. That recent flick with Sydney Sweeney did a pretty good job too
